What do we mean when we talk about content marketing? Content is everything you publish on your webpage, blog, twitter, facebook, podcast, youtube - and also in print media. It is not a new concept but has been given a boost through the Internet. In the past, it could be a printed newsletter, an editorial article or event. The goal was the same then as now. Creating value for the customer.
Content should therefore be something which is relevant and interesting to the customer. It could be advice, information, research or stories about the company's work for young people, charities or the environment. The aim is of course to build trust, solve a problem or show that you share the client's values.
Therefore one approach to content is simply to find out who your customer is, decide what content the customer can benefit from and select channels. Content only sales messages creates no added value for the customer. If you want to create long-term relationships with customers - add up a strategy for your content.
